More and more people from overseas are coming to play golf courses in Japan.
In order to ensure that everyone enjoys their round of golf,
we would like to introduce the Japanese golf course etiquette and rule book.

Preparing for play day

Let's prepare for the best day!

・Please make a reservation if you want to play.
・Please register a phone number that can be used in Japan, as we may call you for confirmation before playing.
・Please check your email frequently as you may receive notification emails from the golf course.
・If you have members in mind, register at least 3 days in advance.
・The golf course will prepare for the day's play based on the registered information. Please note that your reservation may be cancelled if we cannot contact you at the registered address or phone number.

If your schedule changes and you can't go

・Let's cancel as soon as possible.

※Cancellation fees may be charged depending on the golf course, so please check the cancellation policy when making a reservation.

Those who wish to rent shoes and rental clubs

・Let's check with the golf course at the time of reservation.

※We may not have it in stock even if you request it on the day of your reservation.

Regarding the arrival time on the day

・Please arrive 30 minutes before your reservation time and check in at the front desk in order to prepare before playing at the golf course.

When checking in

・Depending on the golf course, you may be asked to present your passport.

Before play

・If you want to leave your passport, wallet, etc., there is a locker for valuables!

※Valuables may be left at the front desk depending on the golf course.

・Please warm up and come to the start hall 10 minutes before the start of play.

If there is a shop at the golf course

・Be prepared with Japanese yen, as there are cases where you can only use cash.

How to spend time in the clubhouse

・Do not bring anything into the clubhouse. Let's use the restaurant for meals.
・Please flush the used toilet paper as it is.
・Smoking is not allowed except where there is an ashtray. Ask the staff at the golf course where you can smoke.

Check points when using the bath

・Use the dressing room instead of changing clothes in the locker.
・Wash off your sweat in the shower before entering the bathtub.
・When leaving the bathroom, wipe your body dry before returning to the dressing room. Return used towels to their designated place.
・You cannot take out equipment such as towels.

When checking out

・Please check valuables and luggage in lockers as more items are left behind at the end of play.
・If you accidentally bring your locker key home, please contact the golf course as soon as possible.
